I have noticed that when plotting wells there is a feature that allows for a set of wells to be selected. It looks as if a pre-defined list of wells can be defined. My question is how do I store these list of wells so that I don’t have to manually select the wells that I am interested in?
(1) Edit -> location Groups -> Wells
(2) Enter a name for the well list in the table on the left
(3) Select the wells you want to appear in the list and click the right-arrow
(4) OK
(5) Plot -> 2d Data -> Wells
(6) Click List button
(7) Use drop-down box in left of dialog box to select your well list
(8) Place check at Use selected well list
(9) OK
(10) OK
When you save out your document, the list will be saved out. You can reuse that list with any of the other data plots. Used Edit -> Location Groups -> Borings for plots involving geologic or stratigraphy data that don’t include samples taken at well screens.
