I am very pleased to announce the release of EnviroInsite 2012. While visually very similar to EnviroInsite7, there are substantial under-the-hood changes that will significantly enhance the user experience and program stability. In addition to these invisible, but tangible changes, we have also implemented a number of exciting new features:
(1) Thematic mapping that allows you to use data-link your shape files and automatically color-code either links and polygons depending on the numeric value or text string of linked data.
(2) Improved handling of UTM zones for conversion of lat-long coordinates to UTM.
(3) New Fraction field to allow for plotting of total and dissolved metals concentrations.
(4) New Screen Group field to enhance your ability to group screens by geographic coordinates, vertical horizon, depth, or screened unit.
(5) Improved handling of large images.
(6) Filtering within the integrated data browser.
(7) Digitizing feature for on-screen digitizing of contours or other features with save option to text file.
(8) Tons of minor fixes to the interface to improve reporting of errors and simplify program use.
The license price will be going up, but through February 13 we will be offering EnviroInsite 2012 to existing users at the EnviroInsite 7 price. Make sure to get your orders in now to avoid the increased price.
