We have simplified the light model so that you only need to do two things.
(1) Select the light intensity from a drop-down box.
(2) Specify the light direction by specifying it's vector components. The convention is that of a light source at an infinite distance and the specified direction is relative to the light source. So for downward light, you would specify {easting = 0, northing =0, elevation = -1}. For light coming from the southeast (towards the northwest) you would specify {easting = -1, northing=1, elevation = -1}.
The light model is only applicable to 3d plotting. If you are only plotting objects in plan view or on cross-sections then don't worry about it.
For those of you that had previously encountered a bug in EnviroInsite7 that occassionally caused the backside of the object to light up, rest assured that this has been resolved.
