I created a boring log and selected hatch fills for each of my lithological field values, but when I plot the boring logs I get a solid fill area with the color set to the Fill Color that I had specified for each soil type. How do I get the hatch fills to plot?
If this is for a boring log as might appear on a cross-section then you should select Edit -> Format -> Soil Styles (or Stratigraphy Styles). Next select the soil type and increase the hatch scale. Try increasing it by a factor of ten and see if it works. You might then want to try increasing it again or reducing the scale.
If this is for a full-page boring log then you need to return to the boring log design template. Double-click on the downhole object and increase the hatch scale for the soil type or types. Again it may take some trial and error to get it just right.
