Select Edit -> Format -> Text Style. Then click on the font-selection drop-down box for the text style you’re interested in changing and select Arial Narrow. Then you’ll need to force EI to redraw your plotted objects. You can do so in one of two ways: (1) Save out an EI document, close the session in EI, and then reopen the new document; (2) Double-click on the plot objects you want to redraw. This will open the dialog box with the object properties. Click on OK to force the object to be redrawn.
You can also create a new text style and set its properties.If you create a new text style then you will need to edit the plot objects you’ve already created and assign the new text style to each object.
