This can be very frustrating. Here are a couple of tips to keep in mind.
(1) The Group field in the Screens tab needs to be populated with something. I suggest putting in a hyphen ("-") if you don't know what to do with the field.
(2) The Group and the Screen field in the Screens tab are text fields. If you're using Excel you can enter a number, but if you do so then EnviroInsite is going to have problems interpreting that. I suggest adding a letter to your number id or you can edit the cell in Excel and add a single apostrophe at the beginning of the number text. That will tell Excel that this is to be treated like text.
(3) Check that the Screen Top Elevation is greater or equal to the Bottom Elevation and that both are not greater than the Ground Surface Elevation in the Wells tab.
(4) The elevation fields in the Wells and Screens tab need to be populated. The only exception is the Top of Casing elevation, which can be left as null.
(5) If you add a well with a screen that is deeper than any of the other wells, you'll likely find that the query depths and elevations of existing plot objects need to be modified to include this new well. The same is true if the new well is outside of the horizontal rectangle enclosing the prior set of wells. Select Reset Limits after adding the well and zooming to a window that includes the new well. That will ensure that the new objects take account of this well when they set up the default query.
