For various reasons, viz files creted in EnviroInsite6 may not be readable by EnviroInsite7. I wish it weren't so, but that's the truth. You have two choices in this case:
(1) Reinstall EnviroInsite6 and work with EnviroInsite6 for this old project. As long as this works and you're happy with the results then that should suffice. Fortunately, EnviroInsite6 and any later version of EnviroInsite can be installed side-by-side.
(2) Reinstall EnviroInsite6 and use EnviroInsite6 to convert the viz file to the more up-to-date xml version of the EnviroInsite document. Then load the file and work in EnviroInsite7 or any later version of the program. You may need to update your data file, but that's not usually a big effort.
My preference would be that users go with no. (2) because it's a lot easier for us to provide technical support for users of the newer versions. Email us for information on installing EnviroInsite6.
