Can't Insert Shapefile

I'm having a problem loading a shapefile. After I select the file and click on the OK button a dialog box appears with a message starting with:

CShapeFileSegment::DrawObject reference not set to an instance of an object. at CShapeFileSegment.Draw(...

Thanks for sending all of the shapefiles (shp, shx, dbf) for me to check. I have replicated the problem here. I noticed that the dbf file's read-only property is set. Once I removed that the shapefile will draw correctly. Follow these steps to access and change the read only property of the dbf file:

(1) Right-click on the file in Windows Explorer
(2) Select Properties
(3) Remove the check at Read Only
(4) Click on the OK button
