EnviroInsite relies on an external program called VectorDraw File Converter to load dxf and dwg files. The EI7 installer has an error in it because when you uninstall EI7 it's not resulting in the removal of VectorDraw File Converter. Then when you install EI2012 its trying to work with an incompatible version of File Converter. To fix the problem, go the Control Panel and uninstall EnviroInsite 2012 and then the Vector Draw File Converter. Then reinstall EnviroInsite2012.
