Is there a way to duplicate a view? For example, I made a view that includes a bunch of sampling points with labels and a background image. I then added a table for a particular constituent.
I want to make a second view that is exactly the same, but with a different constituent tabulated.
If I go into the table, I can switch the constituent, but if I want to keep my first table in its own window and not redraw over it, I can't find any way to duplicate my window. I have to manually create all the parts of the view again (sampling points, formatting, image, etc.). Is there a better way to do that?
(1) Save your results to a 2nd vizx or xml file. Open the 2nd file and change the constituent. Now save the result. You've essentially duplicated the view -- although it does reside in a separate file. Since you can have both the first and second file open at the same time you can if necessary toggle between views by selecting the appropriate tab.
(2) Right-click on the data table object and select duplicate. Edit the newly created data table object and select the 2nd constituent. Now you can turn the visibility of one or the other data table object off or on one to get the view you want with the appropriate background image.
