I've entered the PID values in the Value column of the Point Values tab of my EI Excel data file. I'm trying to plot the values in a boring log, but all of the values show up as a zero.
The database driver that enables EnviroInsite to read from the Excel file uses the values in the first ten rows of the file to determine whether it should treat the values in that column as text or numeric values. In your case, the Value column in the Point Values tab are empty in the first ten columns. The driver in that case assumes that the values in the column are text. This creates a problem it tries to read the numeric values associated with the PID records. You have a couple of choices. You can enter the PID values in the Formatted Value column. Be sure, if you do so to enter a single apostrophe before each value. You can also copy and paste the records with the PID values to the top rows of the Point Values tab. I chose to enter the values in the Formatted Value column and that seems have done the trick.
