I would like to plot boring logs on a cross section like in your tutorial. I understand that this example is based on the xls file (site1.xls) which came with the tutorial and this image must be drawing data from the borings tab from that xls. What I can’t find though is where is this data stored in EQUIS? Which tables and fields do I need to have populated in order to then export this data to EI? If you could point me to where I can find this information I would really appreciate it.
After you populate the fields then open the vw_lithology view in EQuIS. Make sure that x_coord, y_coord, surf_elev, start_elev, end_elev, elev_unit, and material_name have values. If one of these fields in vw_lithology is missing then there is something missing in dt_lithology or dt_coordinate.
