You can transfer EnviroInsite between computers, however we like to make sure that the license has been removed from the first computer before providing an activation code on the new computer. To transfer licenses follow this procedure:
Run EnviroInsite on your old computer and select Help – Transfer License
Record the license transfer code
Download the latest setup file from www.enviroinsite.com/Downloads.htm and install the program on your new computer
Run EnviroInsite on the new computer and get the system id from the About Insite dialog box
Send both the license transfer code (from the old computer) and the system id (from the new computer) to support@enviroinsite.com
We will send back to you the activation code for the new computer
Run EnviroInsite on the new computer and select Help - Activate button; Then copy and paste the activation code and hit return.
You've probably guessed that this procedure is not recommended to allow you to switch the license back and forth as you might do with a dongle-type or floating license. This is partly why we keep the price so low and offer deep multi-seat discounts.
