I loaded a new xls data file into EnviroInsite and am able to plot well and browse the data inside enviroinsite. When I try to post data values or plot data tables the program crashes.
I've reviewed your xls file and noticed that you had loaded numeric values in the Standard Name field of the Constituents tab. This column is intended to store text strings and EnviroInsite had stumbled over this value when looking for the Standard Name. Please either enter Standard Name values or delete the contents of those cells.
This is a common problem. If you are using Excel and you absolutely need a number in a text field then be sure to enter a single apostrophe before the value. This tells Excel and EnviroInsite to treat the number as a text string. You may want to consider using the MS Access data file instead of xls because the data field definitions are predefined leaving no room for these kind of inconsistencies.
